The staff recommended a very reasonable and delicious restaurant in China Town called Lau Li, which was famous for shark fin soup, bird nest, abalone, crab and shell fish!

(250 baht for a 1hr massage in dodgy place is normal, this charged an arm and a leg) Staff: everyone was really really nice and polite (famous Thai hospitality), and I think the Miss Thailand was being held there so reporters and tall beautiful women swanning around was quite an experience.
