MBK offers good local food and plenty of shopping, but prices are slightly higher than those offered in Platinum Mall (taxi fare about 60baht from hotel).

Perfect location you can walk to lots of department stores, also handy to the MRT and is easy to get around, nice restaurant on the 8th floor by the pool.

As for the hotel itself, the buffet breakfast was always sumptuous, and the hotel looked modern and clean all the time.
