The lobby was very impressive, modern avant-garde style, although the rooms were pretty standard -- not much ethnic character compared to other BKK hotels, but still OK.

Love the location (walking distance to the BTS in cool comfort with easy access to shopping/food in MBK), very good service and facilities, rooms are very spacious (i stayed at both standard and deluxe), wonderful breakfast (quality is good compared to some of the more branded hotels I've stayed at).
