I would highly recommend Le Suites Taipei (Ching Cheng) for either the business or leisure traveler as a hip and luxurious stay with local flair.

The rooms were small but comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious and it was lovely to be able to have complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits at leisure in the lounge.

Lobby was classy and elegant, subdued lighting was a little too low; atrium, outdoor tables, artwork everywhere, tremendous couches and reading public areas make you feel like you are in a club or high end coffeehouse.
