The Hospes Amérigo has been through a series of previous lives before becoming the exceptional property it is today. Formerly a Dominican convent, then a complex of commercial offices and lastly an apartment block, the building was saved, wholly refurbished and updated by Hospes Design. Hospes has reaffirmed the construction's unitary character, and determined an intimate, personal series of spaces in the middle of Alicante, just fifteen metres from the town hall and the well-known La Explanada avenue. A clear example of modern Spanish hospitality, Hospes Amérigo has a well-equipped BODYNA Spa with fitness suite, a roof terrace with heated pool and fantastic views of Alicante's castle. Finish off a Mediterranean day with dinner in one of the hotel's two SENZONE spaces, the restaurants and te Tapas Bar; perhaps in the refined settings of a private dining room.
