In my opinion, the Fairmont hotel is a functional business hotel.

Many other staff generally rather distant and formal but then, this is probably really a business hotel.

Now the Stanford is a fine conference hotel, and the Plaza management tried hard to do right by me; but at the end of the days Raffles is the most famous hotel in the world, the stamford is just another bog-standard 4 star business hotel.
