The San Bartholomew Convent Is Situated East Of Alcantara, Between The Access Roads And The Dam And The Puente Romano, Built In The 15th Century Under The Royal Protection Of The Catholic Kings In 1496. In The 17th Century There Was Some Improvements Made To The Building And In Recent Years It Was A Flour Mill, Today Most Of The Machinery Is Located In The Over 3 Floors In The Nave Of The Church.
