Loved a small shop called "Spicy Green Mango", not far from the National Museum...

The location is great - close to the Royal Palace and to some very good markets and dining.

There is a great half block of shopping around the corner (left out the door, then left at the corner) and we liked the overall location better than being on the river.

I could not find any nearby grocery stores, where I could stock some extra water to beat up Cambodian heat.

The hotel is a 1 minute walk away from a few nice shops and restaurants like a French bakery, a restaurant with great local food to try.

A world away from the bustle of Sisowath Quay, this is a really nice area of the city with good shops cafes, a couple of great classy little bars and the fantastic Tamarind restaurant, where you can dine out on the roof terrace.

The hotel is excellently situated by the best shopping street in Phnom Penh (240 - although that's not saying a great deal as shopping is a very sparse compared to other Asian cities I have visited) and is also near the Royal Palace, the National Museum and so on.

In 240 Street, a couple of minutes walk from the Pavillion, is a good bookshop, an excellent and inexpensive laundry cum ice cream shop (!
