We were checked in fast and efficiently, given cool towels and a drink on arrival then shown to our rooms with a complete run-through of everything in our rooms (eg: electronic switchboard control of lights, air-con, alarm etc.

Our room opened on to the pool, which was a cool feature but one we used for about ten minutes.

On arrival to the Banthai we were led into the 'cool room' and given an icy cold drink.

When first arriving we were taken into the huge lobby, which was very modern and spacious, the front desk ladys took us to the holding room where they brought us cool towels and a drink.

I have to admit their swimming pools are pretty cool but hey, there are plenty of other hotels in Patong Beach with that amenity.
