Phuket does have very good shopping Beach Rd or OTop - ie Ed Hardy Affliction T- shirts were very good quality - unable to find anywhere else in Bangkok (JJ markets) or Chiang Mai.

great location across the road from the beach with markets literally out your front door but when you have had enough of shopping and walk through the resort entrance you immediately feel relaxed and away from the noise and people.

The staff were terrific, always attentive and helpful, the restaurants were great and the hotel was so close to great shopping and the beach.
