The rooms were lovely, nice and spacious and cool, which was a pleasent escape from the heat and humidity.

The breakfast spread was just like any other hotel and yes, the hot food was quite cool - I think the lights over the baine-marie were just lights not heat lamps.

When we checked in we each got a beautiful guava juice with a little flower in the glass and also a cool towel after our long plane trip.
