Guest Reviews of Tivoli Ocean Park Hotel Funchal Based on a 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) rating system

Overall we had a really good stay, I will start with the positives; our room (339) wasn't big but it was comfortable , the firm beds were good and we slept like babies, we had the sound of the ocean to fall asleep to so that probably helped and a view of the pool and promenade.

The rooms are large, the bed is the biggest thing I have ever slept in, the decor is a bit bland but clean, the bathroom is a marvel of marble and the private terrace is easily big enough for entertaining a small group or party.

We decided to upgrade our rooms, and got a couple of nice spacious suites with large terraces viewing the ocean and the resort.

The rooms were good size with a modern bathroom and excellent sea views.

We had a standard room which was very spacious and plentiful equipped with both a seating area and special amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, extra pillows, full size bathroom, and a selection of glasses to the minibar.

The cost was very reasonable for a 2 bedroom 'apartment' with 2 ensuite bathrooms and a kitchen.
