The hotel is located away from Old Funchal however there are a few nice restaurants a short walk away from Funchal.

It's a bit iof a walk to central Funchal but we did it on five occasions and we are in our sixties.

Downtown Funchal is a really pretty with plenty to do and see, although there is not a lot for children to do really.
