    The room was lovely with fabulous views over Funchal very comfortable indeed with a mini bar but no facilities to make tea or coffee which was quite expensive to buy in the hotel.The

    The room was easily big enough for 3 with a king bed and a single, and the third bed was a proper bed, not just a put-me-up.

    The views are staggering both by day and night - my 'garden view' room had a lovely balcony and I could actually see the sea too.

    Our 'suite' was a little over due redecoration, the rooms walls were a little grubby with scuff marks, in some areas and I think the carpet fitter must have had a off day!!
