    This can be a bit scary with the proximity of the traffic but the taxis are very good and very reasonably priced if you compare to UK prices!

    However, the hotel can also arrange for you to dine in other hotels in the 'Charming Hotels of Madeira' group - collecting and returning you in their smart shuttle bus/car (which will also take you into central Funchal and back during the day).
