Guest Reviews of Quinta Da Casa Branca Hotel Funchal Based on a 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) rating system

Superior rooms have very small balcony, suppose it depends what you like, but very glad we didn't spend the extra money.

I thought that refusing a guest something is appalling - I think the hotel is actually very expensive bearing in mind we were there on just a B B basis so to be refused water so they can make more money by selling bottles was insulting.

Food OK but breakfast overpriced with cold croissants and orange juice thin and rather tasteless - surely any five star should get these basics right?

It is quite simply not worth it, the room is slightly larger, and has a free minibar .
