parts of white beach ,especially towards the port end, are pretty dirty and squalid, almost shanty town like in appearance, and certainly behind the facade of the luxurious white beach there is a main road which is rather typical of south east Asian places...

The restaurant menu provides a good selection of different cuisine, a little expensive for the locals, but the serving size are definitely of Western standards and the taste is superb.

But staff were impersonal, restaurant was rubbish ( breakfast was like a cafeteria ) service was slow if it could be found and it was uber expensive.
