Conferences and Banquets
Tokyo's most international hotel also houses some 26 different banquet and function rooms, many equipped with the newest state-of-the-art support systems for conferences, seminars, fashion shows, exhibitions and gala receptions.
Smaller ballrooms for private parties, meetings and other functions are also furnished with a surprising number of versatile, practical appointments.
The Peacock Room offers a total of 1,965 square meters of floor space and can be divided into two separate halls. This striking ballroom features decorative motifs from the 1923 Frank Lloyd Wright Imperial and can accommodate 3,000 reception guests, 2,000 in theatre-style, and 1,350 for a flawlessly-served sit-down dinner.
The Fuji Room boasts simultaneous interpretation systems for five languages among its list of extensive event support systems, and some 1,236 square meters of space. The Fuji Room can accommodate 1,000 reception guests, 1050 theatre-style, and 600 at a sit-down dinner.
The Hikari Room, in the Tower, was also designed for full-scale international events and offers 550 square meters of floor space, a sleek contemporary interior, extensive audio-visual systems and a 400 reception guest capacity.
Theatre-style seating allows for up to 500 guests, or 300 at a sit-down dinner.
The Imperial Hotel also houses 23 medium to small-sized banquet rooms ranging from 47 to 435 square meters in floor space, accomodating 30 to 300 guests for receptions, 30 to 350 theatre-style, and 20 to 240 at sit-down dinners.

The Old Imperial Bar
A salute to the architectural heritage of Frank Lloyd Wright, with intriguing decor from the 1923 Imperial and masterfully concocted spirits from around the world, The Old Imperial Bar is the hotel's main bar and a Tokyo institution. Open daily from 11:30 a.m., with sandwiches served during lunchtime, closing at midnight.
The Rendez-Vous Lounge and Bar
Watch the world go by, right in our Main Lobby, over a freshly-brewed pot of coffee or tea, a frothy beer or your favorite cocktail. Incontestably one of Tokyo's most popular international crossroads. Open daily from late morning until midnight, with the Bar serving until 1:00 a.m.
The Imperial Lounge Aqua
Cocktails, spirits, a light luncheon buffet and afternoon tea, presented with finesse and overlooking the very heart of Tokyo from the 17th Floor of the Main Building. Service daily from 11:30 a.m. to midnight except for Sunday in which service ends at 10:00pm.
Toko-an
This exquisite suite of classical Japanese tatami rooms serves ceremonial green tea and sweets, prepared by kimono-clad attendants schooled in the traditional tea ceremony, adjacent to a tiny but delightful rooftop Japanese garden. 4th Floor, Main Building. By reservation.
