    We particularly liked the extra amenities (lovely takeout meals delivered to the room by restaurant staff, a latest movie channel on the TV (pay per view) a well stocked bar fridge and confectionary selection (although a little pricey).

    We had a long drive to Napier the following day, so opted to eat in the "Plate" restaurant, a very good meal indeed, and a nice selection of wine by the glass.

    I did have dinner at the restaurant - Plates (i think it was called) and had a delicious meal of Steak with Oyster mushrooms and Potato gratin and finished off with a delectable dessert of chocolate mousse...
