for the money this is a good hotel yes it is a bit out of town but the area has some good bars coffee shops and shopping all at half the cost of dam central ..

The location is not that convenient, but at least it is not a sleazy dive like so many places in Amsterdam.

The hotel itself is fine, the staff is pleasant, however, I would not choose it again just because of location.

We bought a 48hr travel ticket for 12 Euros which does the bus, tram and Metro and used it to travel into Central Amsterdam and then caught the 69 bus which goes a few yards out of the hotel straight to the airport so that was very good value and not hard to use.

Situation géographique : ni trop près ( hors zone touristique, plus calme et inséré dans la vie locale ), ni trop loin du centre ( en tram environ 20 min )
