    It is a taxi ride away from central Marrakech,but after time there, feels a haven of peace and quiet.

    The staff were rude and behaved as though we were a nuisance to them, scoffing if you offered them less than 50DH for a tip.

    The pool is perfect - big enough, cold enough to be refreshing in the pretty intense heat, quiet but still enjoyed by laughing, splashing children and clean.

    The only minor negative thing is that you have to pay 25 dirhams per day for the use of the room's safe (however, at just under £2 pounds per day it won't break the bank).
