  1.
    Not worth the money... .

  2.
Because of the very spread-out nature of the hotel and the laid-back attitude, service is VERY slow.

And in the evenings it was wonderful to sit in the beautiful rooms of the house, enjoying the open fires, the excellent collection of books, a relaxing tipple, a fantastic home-grown meal, only to finally retire into a comfortable double bed and look forward to enjoying the next day in the same way.

  4.
The food was ok but not worth the money and the problems that were experienced with the owner caused alot of tears and tribulations leading up to such a special day for the bride and groom.

The place is not a hotel, you feel like in a private house.

  1.
I love the atmosphere, the colors, the smell of Gary's gardens, the amazing decoration created by Meryanne, the delicious cuisine, a mix of traditional oriental food and western taste, the wonderful flowers in the living rooms and bedrooms, the kindness of the employees...

  2.
The staff were helpful without being 'in your face'; the bedrooms are impeccable and full of original touches (miles away from the tired Orientalist chic peddled elsewhere in Morocco); the proprietress was gracious and welcoming.

A unique stay and a blissful experience

  4.
We booked two elegant garden rooms Calligraphy and Casablanca for our ten-day stay, which had a pool, which we shared with another family.

  5.
None of this uberdesign boutique hotel style, just a beautiful big country house with timeless style in the middle of the most amazing vegetation 20 minutes away from the crowd and energy of the old Medina.
