    The mid-rating is just that Langkawi is not really a true 5* glamour destination so the room is comfortable but a little old and not luxurious or fancy or stylish.

    The spa was very relaxing and luxurious and the pools were large and good for swimming and the gym is ample - often I was the only person in there!

    On the positive side, the manager cut us a deal on the 2 bedroom suite, which was hands down the most luxurious hotel suite I have ever stayed in.
