    The Datai is an unbelievably beautiful hotel with exceptional facilities, rooms, view and services at a dream location.

    My one gripe was the service which was variable, for instance: On check in we received a warm and professional welcome - on check out we were delayed by about 10 minutes while the staff slowly corrected an error on our bill - despite me expressly requedsting it to be fixed 30 minutes earlier, they did not attend to it until it was time to pay.

    The villa is a little dark but I think it adds to the peaceful aspect of the stay.

    The hotel, staff, food, rooms, location & most of all the service was outstanding and made our stay a "truly memorable experience" This hotel lives up to it's reputation and reviews, the location although remote adds to the atmosphere as all you hear are the noises of the creatures coming form the rain forest - we saw so much wildlife!!
