    Best value for food and taste was at JAY'S seafood restaurant across the bridge on the river where nightmarket is, all the locals go there.

    All the food and drink is certainly not cheap however, we think given the setting and the quailty, it is worth it.

    Having read some comments of other customers saying that The Datai is expensive, I am really wandering whether those who thought so are either inexperienced travellers or they confused for a moment their country's currency with Malaysian Ringits Having stayed with my wife and daughter for seven nights at The Datai I can only but very shortly describe it as a 'dream and faultless resort from all aspects' and a real value for money.
