    We also visited the Datai and given the climb down to the beach, I'd say that the double prices are not worth it.

    The prices of food and drink is expensive when compared to the rest of the island but when you think of location and the service it ends up being good value.

    Yes the meals are pricey if you are on holiday and on a budget, but good value for what you get which is food comparable to KL's finest restaurants.

    I can honestly say if you want a special, relaxing and enjoyable place to stay then the Andaman and Langkawi is for you and worth every penny and hours of flying!

    to hire a car from the hotel was about €50 fro 24 hours this included insurance and petrol and was well worth it.
