    We spent a few days away from the resort visting the famous Langkawi Cable Car (which is not to be missed) and a day cruise with Blue Water Star Sailing, which was magic!!

    We found the freedom of a car indispensable for going out to restaurants at night - the resort is quite pricey and we didn't have an inclusive deal, but we were very happy to check out some famous restaurants o nthe island - The Gulai House in particular was amazing with superb Malay food.
