We bought the Tanjung Rhu book and realised that once upon a time it was probably quite prestigious because it had an esteemed chef heading the team.

The food is also good and excellent well prepared, but having to book a table in 'the Rhu' at 0600 is not good, even if it is the premier restaurant.

We booked a Damai courtyard room, which although it was the basic room exceeded our expectations in every way, large, luxurious feel, superb bed and bathroom.

Not sure why however the hotel found it necessary to charge 50MR premium pp for the Fish Evening, when the food there was no better than anywhere else.
