    To be perfectly frank, the resort is like a slightly upmarket and overpriced Butlins which is great for families but not ideal for a couples.

    The good points about the place, was the beach is very nice and ideal for families with young children, as the water is not very deep.

    I'm sure this resort is fine for families, or for those on a budget, but please don't believe local literature that this is a 5 star resort (Langkawi Tourist Information) - it most definitely is not!
