    The hotel resort has a beautiful private beach and it is close to the smaller islands located within its bay.

    If you were happy to stay in the resort ,the location was fine - but being closer to town would have been good.

    It's not really walking distance into town- and it costs a flat 15MYR every time you want to go in (each way).

    The location is pretty good, although expect to travel for a number of hours to see any of the local attractions (Kinabalu National park, Poring Hot Springs, etc etc).
