    The hotel has a very nice beach and pool, which is where we spent most of our time.

    One good thing about the hotel is that their seats (lounge chair by the seaside gazebo, plastic floating lounge chairs in the pool) all have the perfect curvature and incline that once you sit down you simply don't want to leave.

    We stayed at the other shangri la hotel in borneo (several years ago) and remembered being bowled over by the service and quality of the hotel, even though quite expensive, the experience was excellent.
