    There's lots of tour offices in town and a good shopping centre.

    Although it is quite isolated as there are no shops etc in the immediate vicinity the pay off for that is being on the site of the orangutan sanctuary and private beach.

    The hotel c/o the Guest Relations Officer - Anita, did arrange for a city transfer and back for a quick shopping trip to the city for RM190 per way which I believe is a good deal for a group of 12 though KK is not really a good place for shopping.

    Kota Kinabalu is a pleasant city, good shopping at Wisma Medeka, Centrepoint and the Handicraft/Fillipino market (good value freshwater pearls).
