Meals are a bit pricey, but still reasonable for western visitors ( I had a meal in Sandakan for 8 Ringits, average in the hotels is about 80).

CONS: 1) The cleanliness of the room was not very good, bathroom floor had been wet during our stay, and the pillows were dry for some reason.

The spa staff was inattentive, to say the least - no one to meet and check us in when we came for our appointments (more than once) and mixing up the types of treatments.
