It offers regular shuttle bus service to large discount stores as well and has a useful garden at the top of the floor.

The location was great- Insa-Dong is just around the corner, but what we loved was the walk going north from the hotel (Lonely Planet's Between The Palaces walk)- art galleries, quirky shops and restaurants and a beautiful neighbourhood of traditional houses.

The Somerset also has a Starbucks off the lobby, along with a convenience store and an ice cream shop, which make it an easy place to live.

The Somerset Palace, open a little over a year, was perfectly located near a palace, traditional streets of shopping and restaurants, the subway stop and the airport bus stop.
