  2.
My jaws dropped when I was shown to my room because the room was small, the furnitures were old, the lights were dim, everything in the bathroom looks so plastic, and this was the first hotel room I have stayed anywhere in the world which used fluorescent light in the room (it reminds me of government housing in Singapore).

The room was horrible, like something from the 80's, you could see the base of the bed and all its stains and the walls were yellowing.

when we refused they agreed to change our room to a non smoking room which however was filthy (large black and yellow stains on the ceiling and wallpaper, and dirty love seat).

  5.
Service was spotty, I think that the staff probably worked there when it was the Miyako hotel and haven't been given the push to give Sheraton-like service.
