The directions to the hotel are a little misleading as the train station close to the hotel is not on a train line that passes through Kyoto Station.

The room was a little musty at first but clean and spacious with good natural light (especially compared to the Tokyo hotel we had just come from).

The location isn't perfect, but being so close to a station (50m) makes this immaterial anyway.

The location is not perfect but it is easy to catch a bus to go to Kyoto station (15 min) or to Gion (10 min) or to the main temples.
