Location is very convenient for using public transportation for sightseeing, with bus stops for several city bus lines within easy walking distances from the hotel, although the location is at a considerable distance from the main train station.

Good location (near nishioji shijo station - a major bus station) and also well located near a subway (though subway in kyoto is nowhere near as good as the bus network - in my opinion).

The hotel is located in Western Kyoto where there are some sights, but most sights seems to be in Central and Gion.

The location just next to railway station was good and hotel in general as well.

There are inexpensive places to eat locally, though its only a short bus ride to either the Kyoto station area or Downtown.
