The restaurant in the hotel looks very nice but it was very pricey, even for breakfast.

The location was pretty decent as we took taxis often from either the train station or the Gion area and it was never more than 800 Yen or so (depending on the starting fare w/the taxi as they weren't always the same).

All in all, a very comfortable stay in Kyoto if you can afford it.
