The room itself was extremely clean, however a little small by the American standards.

The marble bathroom was nice and large, I'm not a fan of the tub/shower combo though and disliked showering in the pretty narrow bathtub while touching that hanging cloth (well, at least it wasn't plastic) all the time.

In addition, once we had returned after 6-7 hours' exploration of Rome, we were able to relax in the extremely comfortable air-conditioned room with lovely en-suite.

Our adjoining rooms were gorgeous - hardwood floors, marble bathrooms, satellite TV (we even were able to watch a Red Sox game one night!
