From outside the main doors the hotel does not appear to be anything special, but once you enter through the doors you find marble floors and a beautiful and inviting Roman courtyard filled with palm trees and flowers.

My room was rather small, but otherwise not bad-- the bathroom in particular was excellent, modern, granite counters, a good shower, etc.
