Dublin International Hostel is a former convent boasting superior lodgings with new bunks in all rooms, all bedrooms repainted and redecorated, new flooring in corridors and rooms and new furniture in our restaurant. This major facelift now gives you an even more comfortable stay in the heart of Dublin!
Situated on Mountjoy Street, the hostel is in a prime city centre location within walking distance of Temple Bar, bus and train stations and all the attractions of the city centre. We are the only Dublin hostel that is a member of the IYHF (International Youth Hostel Federation) and welcomes members from all around the world. In addition our Head Office is located at the back of the hostel, so for onward bookings to one of our other 22 hostels in the An Oige chain, you are welcome to call in for friendly and informative advice about travelling around Ireland.

In the hostel you will find a range of facilities including free secure car parking, key card access to all rooms, games room, currency exchange, laundry facilities and an international booking service that allows you to make bookings in any of the other 5000 IYHF youth hostels worldwide. Open 24 hours, we also serve our guests a free continental breakfast in a fabulous old nuns chapel converted into our restaurant.
