    I chose to upgrade to executive floor to get club-level / breakfast and other benefits, like internet access, though not sure it was worth it (do the a la carte math first).

    The grounds are well manicured, the restaurants are of the highest quality and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

    Its is a neat efficinet businessman's hotel with a well appointed Executive lounge on the 29th floor with great 360 degree panaroma of Jakarta ( not that there is much by way of a skyline), but the sunny, lighted environ is energising.

    I checked in at 1500 was told my room was not available (check-in time is 1400 as confirmed in my booking) unless I wanted a smoking room.
