The room they putt me in smelled like paint fumes, and when I asked to be moved, they put me in another room directly above a very loud disco in the hotel.

Indonesia is not very safe for American's and it also have lots of bugs but staying at this hotel you do not need to go outside at all.

This experience on top of the cold, unfriendly service I've had on both this visit and a previous visit mean that I will not be staying at the Grand Hyatt in Jakarta again.

Also from what I can tell, none of the rooms are non-smoking, and although they do a thorough job cleaning I can still faintly smell smoke in my bed linens.

The rooms are cozy, not as modern or as good as the hyatt singapore or shanghai.
