    This hotel allows you to venture into the melee of everyday Jakarta as soon as you walk out of the door and lets face it, one of the attractions of Jakarta is that it is a crazy place so a very nice modern hotel in the heart of that craziness is actually a very cool idea indeed.

    The Alila is a comfortable, attractive modern hotel without much personality but more than adequate for a tired tourist who has just flown 20 hours from Europe.

    The design does provide a modern relaxing atmosphere, which we highly appreciated every time we got back to the hotel from being in the hectic traffic of Jakarta.
