    Rooms are shabby (just like what another reviewer said), desperately in need of a major overhaul renovation, furniture are MOLDY, the room smell that way too.

    If you're going to Bintan, then the Banyan Tree is the place to be if you can afford it (it's not cheap).

    The price of spa facilities and special dinners if chosen would make this a very expensive trip, but taken in moderation I didn't find the total cost unreasonable.

    Our room is bay front villa, we don't have a great ocean view because it was situated inside the woods but we don't mind.
