    Rooms are shabby (just like what another reviewer said), desperately in need of a major overhaul renovation, furniture are MOLDY, the room smell that way too.

    Didn't appreciate the TV in Reception playing the sales pitch for Banyan Tree Villa Ownership Scheme on a continuous loop while I was waiting to check in - totally spoils the otherwise tranquil setting.

    The villas are fantastic - again, rustic in style, with wooden floors and thatched roofs - but with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds, and a deck with a spa bath overlooking the sea.
