    The Banyan Tree Bintan has a great location: on a small hill, in the middle of nature, on a nice white sandy beach.

    While the hotel is not comparable to a brand new 5 star hotel in Asia, it is certainly a wonderful retreat in a beautiful location.

    The location is excellent although, as is the way of Bintan, once you are through the security gates there is nothing else around.
