stayaing is claridges is an expensive and also it tends to be booked heavily during marriage season and winters so its advisable to book in advance.

wonderful hotel for relax and enjoy vacation, staying in The Claridges just like a paradise from a great heat in delhi, nice hospitality and well organised from staffs, i stayed in the hotel 10 days all together, tried 3 different rooms type, all are fantastic, clean and cosy, food in restaurants are great, i found not reason why i'll not come back again, in fact, i got a hot deal price from asiarooms, so impressed and thanks.

A one-day travel is NOT advisable: the road is dangerous and overcrowded (people, animals and all kinds of vehicules and bikes), and many road works slow down an already hectic trafic.

The hotel bar was quite nice but again it was spoiled by the emphasis that everyone put on your money, I know the place is a business but this was on the verge of obsessive.

Not much around hotel within walking distance, but having it's own taxi stand makes it easy to get anywhere from the hotel.

But if you are paying above 200 USD and you room is still average, you may wonder if another choice would have been wiser.

EXPENSIVE HOTEL, NOT VALUE FOR MONEY

The first night we were in a deluxe room we had booked online (the deluxe and claridges room were listed at the same rate), and the second night we had planned to switch to the Ginger to save money but didn't feel safe (we were a group of 3 20-something women) so returned to the Claridges in a Claridges room.
