Musikmesse is an annual event in Frankfurt and is the largest trade show for musical instruments, lighting and other product equipment related to music and entertainment. In 2010, the Musikmesse will present vintage musical instruments from the 50's to the 70's and will be a special highlight of the fair. The Frankfurt Book Fair goes way back more than 500 years. Since the conception printing of Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz near Frankfurt, local booksellers held the bookfair in the city since. This is the world's largest bookfair with over 7,000 exhibitors and is held in mid-October at the Frankfurt Trade Fair.
