My room was extremely quiet on the tower situated on the left of the reception so had a good night's sleep but this luck was also probably because the hotel was max 60% full.

it was just renovated when I stayed there 6 yr ago, nice room though small, good view, and close to everything chic in berlin: shopping, museum etc.

We stayed in a junior king suite on the fourth floor and it was excellent with a large bathroom,sitting area and great views across the square,however if you get a room on the sixth floor as some of our friends did the rooms may be a bit smaller but you get access to the lounge up there and it is well worth it with the free nibbles etc,not that the staff were rigidly checking room numbers...
